The Natrona County Meals on Wheels Foundation exists to provide monetary support for the Natrona County Meals on Wheels Organization for special and specific needs, while ensuring that the Foundation itself continues in perpetuity.
The Meals On Wheels Foundation exists as an entity separate from the MOW Organization. Both Foundation and Organization are governed by separate By-Laws, Articles of Incorporation, and Board of Directors. The Foundation's purpose is to use its funds to assist in providing meals to elderly, low-income folks who are unable to prepare meals for themselves. Toward that end, the Foundation raises funds to donate to the MOW Organization when the need arises. The Foundation accepts gifts, donations, legacies, bequests of both real and personal property, and conducts an annual fund raiser.
